Default AEM EMS base map 00 prelude

Ok I am really having a problem finding a base map for a mostly stock 2000 prelude 5sp non-sh. I have AEM EMS 1020 and the map that comes with it does not work. I have searched all the forums including hondatech's and AEM's and have not found what I needed. Please help.

You don't even need an EMS with that setup...

Understandably, but that doesn't help. I want to use it now to eliminate my redline and top speed governer and to lower my Vtec engagement point and to start and idle. And so I can install my 550 injectors.

he needs it for the n2o i guess for timing adjustment also your redline limited their is no top speed limit on your car. ems is alot of money to spend epically when your running a dry shot. i would've personally just ran crome but to each his one.

Well that and I have a turbo setup sitting around waiting for ems to work right so when the turbo is installed it will tune a little easier.

I understand why the redline is there but I don't want to hit the rev limiter running the nitrous, I will still shift @7900 like usual, I just don't want to go lean and detonate.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by fastlude69 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">also your redline there for a reason espically with a stock head and stock valve train with nitrous.</TD></TR></TABLE>

It will start but only if you have the throttle at like 50% and it runs really rough. If you let off the gas it stalls instantly. BUMP I need a stock base map that works good.

Have you tried the AEM forums? Lots of good base maps are posted up there.

if you dont know how to operate the program, find someone who does. People take classes to learn how to fully use this ems to its potential. These maps are not the kind you use to start up and think the car is going to drive normal.
Either learn how to use it or pay someone who already knows how.

you probably just need to scale the fuel map for the 550cc injectors you are using, and then some. the ems isn't one to be messed around with, the base maps are designed to get the car running only, not driveable and certainly not raceable.

They have them for civics on their forums and they have them for accords on their forum but here on the prelude forum we have jack sh--. There has to be someone that has a stock prelude tuned with aem ems, and I am trying to find them. I dont want one just to start it, I want want that is tuned. Thx for all the help though.

those injectors are not in yet because they have nothing to run them...k.

odds are you aren't going to find one very easily man, thats just the truth of it.

civic and accords are way more popular to tune then preludes...

why don't you just take a stock H22 accord map and use that?

read the ebooks, then learn from someone who knows it...that software is so complex that its going to take more than reading a couple of posts to get you up and running.

Unfortunately noone likes to pay money to tune a stock car so there wont be much out there for it. since it fires up and you have a wideband, just tune the air fuel so its driveable and take it to your tuner.
then post your calibration so it helps others in the future. If you need any more help let me know.
