Default AEM 1040 Standalone Map

hi everyone i have a 90 crx that has been converted over to obd1 ecu and worked fine on a honda ecu chiped and tuned but i wanted more so i bought a Aem 1040 standalone and i need a good map to start it with or help with.
problems are when i use the start up maps and set up everything with the aem the car acts and says its under a 65% load on aem and acts likes its bogged down at the idle with everything set up i believe correctly
my setup is a
b16a 170 hp base engine
50 trim turbo
stock fuel pump Dsm 450cc injectors
timing set at 14 degrees
skunk2 intake manifold
and full 2.5 exhaust
stock map sensor

i hope someone in here can help me with a base map or help figure out why its staying under a constant load any help is gratefully appreciated

Post your calibration file and maybe we can look at it and see what your problem might be. We may need you too also post a log file.

im tired of chrome though i wana be able to get the most power out of it with a very good tune the car runs its just under a load at idle which is what i cant figure out the lowest i have got the load to was 48 im sure there's one setting or something im missing i calibrated the tps and did the injector size to what i have could it being that i have a stock 02 sensor hooked up be causing it to do that? i know aem says yo unhook it ill be getting my wide band in a few days and im guna have my tuner tune it i was just tryin to get it to idle and atleast run before he tuned it to make shure there was no issues like i said though it runs fine on the stock ecu tuned on chrome just looking for more on a better tune chrome has its limits which im at now

Which map did you use. If you uploaded one of the base maps. Make sure to look at all the notes for the calibration. Some aren't setup with the stock sensors.

ok i used the 1040 turbo map changed the injectors to dsm 450 injectors calibrated the tps changed the Map to honda and still nothing its showing a high a$$ load for some reason i took the voltage to the Map sensor and changed it and the load went down to 5 about where it should be instead of 100 but changed it back to what it was
even when i get the load down it shows the AIR FLOW being totaly full on the home with the car turned off and shows boost at half with the car turned off any ideas?

What are your load units in? If it is displayed in KPA which is usually the default than yes 0PSI is 100kpa.

ok then the load is correct if that's the cause but im still showing 100% air flow and the boost is at half way with the engine not running and when u do get it to run it acts like its under a load and is building boost at like 2 grand

Okay cool. Its very easy to change this so it may be a number you are more familiar with. On the top of the screen look for the drop down "Configure". Click "Units..." This will open up your unit preferences. Use the drop down in that screen and choose "Load Units" Click "PSI" hit the apply at the bottom and click OK and all your maps will change over to PSI.
