Default 4ws problems!!

Ok so today me and my buddy attempted to fix my 4ws since its been not working completely for over a month. We successfully removed the 4ws ECU and followed the writeup on how to re-solder the possibly loose connections. After reinstalling and starting her up, the 4ws light remained on. Any other ideas about what this could be?

you should be able to pull a code the same way you check for CEL, except the 4WS will blink.

Exactly, you only have to resolder if you're getting codes 60-65. Check the codes.

This is just for my Tps(which is cracked on the clip)....does the code flash in the cel area or in the 4ws light?I know it says the 4ws light^^^^^.... but Im almost positive that the 4ws flashed no lights when I jumpered it.So does this mean its probally the soldering points since the 4ws light didnt flash me a code?

the 4ws light will blink... watch it.. if it isn't, then you probably shut off your car and restarted it within 5 mins. (this turns on the 4ws light and disables 4ws for some reason). or you were driving aggressivly and the 4ws light came on (for whatever reason it also does this and it talks about it in the hodna manual..)

but dude, if it's always on, then the light WILL BLINK,

According to the FSM, if you jump the connector and turn the ignition switch on, the light should flash very quickly once, then after a 3 second pause will flash the trouble code. If there is no code, it says to check the 4ws fuse under the dash and the power mirror fuse in the same spot.

i unhook the battery and it works for a while but it always quits again sometimes right away sometimes it works for days but i cant find the codes so i just live with it. if you run the car in second gear to the floor unill you hit the rev limiter then shift hard into 3rd that will help you to look away from the light
