Default limp hom mode?

How can you know for sure if this is what you are experiencing?

Check engine light and lack of power.

Well my car is doing both. I can't pull a code from the cel though.. can't rev past 4k and sometimes not past 2k.... any ideas?

I'm working on a swap with the same problem.

Jump the ECU pin and see what codes are being thrown. Could be a number of things. Check the codes.
