crv taking time to warm up

crv taking time to warm up
My 98 crv is in good condition, but it takes time to warm up. The temperature gauge slowly reaches a little down the halfway mark when I start it. It did not do it before. Before when I start it, it use to warm up quickly. Not a big problem though.

Re: crv taking time to warm up
I have the same issue with my 98crvawd, especialy during cold winter months. I still warm up, temp gauge takes a while. Id rather go off my rmp's, let the engine warm up and let the oil circulate. When my rpm's drop form 1.5 to 700 rpm, i know Im done. When the iac valve warm up, you can feel it.
