is it bad to put a car outside when its freezing cold outside, when the engine is not wired yet. Would it cause problems when i get it started in the spring?

i dont believe so, but just for the sake of the cold and the ice on the chassis i would store it inside for the winter

Car sit outside all the time in the cold unwired. It doesn't matter. You just need to make sure that it has no water in the block to freeze and crack the block.
