what are the seals on a si tranny called?
i need to replace the seals on my si tranny while it's out of the car......the seals im looking for are where the axle meets the tranny (theres 2) if anyone can tell me what there called, i would appreciate it. Also can i get these at autozone or are they stealership only?

then go to the auto parts store. they'll have them there, or can order them. either way, if they dont have it in stock then you'll up the creek without a paddle for a few days

Yo you live in San Diego right? I bought mine at Parts + Plus in L Street. The # is (619)691-9019.
The sizes are different so don't buy the same one. The product was from Timken Sealssw and the product # was TIM 2007N. This was for the driver side axel and I paid 5.99. I herad that the passenger side cost more but I'm not so sure.
