I have heard that slotted rotors blow because they eat up your pads and you can't turn them

Yes slotted can be turned, had it done at discount and as far as the pads, they do make metallic pads and I have had no problems, bought the pads six months ago, car still stops on a dime. But you can get crap version of both of these items that will make the experience of having them suck. I got the slotted ( because drilled do crack ) Power slot rotors and Axiss metal master pads. So get the right one and all is good.....

Hey HondaCRX, are you driving your car only on the street? If your racing thats a different story, but WTF man! I don't know about your car, but my 91 CRX has 4 stock brakes and it stops better than 90% of the cars i have driven. I say just invest in some decent brake pads, and maybe some braded lines. Stick with stock rotors and you wont have to worry about problems.
