Default Short Shifter Kits

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of getting a short shifter kit and a gear **** extension for my '88 Civic. What do you guys think of these and do you have any suggestions as to which I should get?

Chris.

Skunk2 for a 94+ integra has always been a favorite of mine, provides nice shifts and if you get the 94+ the shifter is actually taller so you are not reaching for the shifter all the time.

There are alot of options, cheap ebay ones are prone to breaking off at the **** threads..Been there done that on a buddies car.

Ive used b&m dual bend short throw shifter and skunk2 heavy *** hell shift ****. that things like 2 pounds. ive used this setup in 2 cars and loved it.
and yea the ebay ones, mine broke in my 2nd crx at the pivot point switching to 2nd gear lol. i had to get under the car and put the car in 3rd gear and slip my clutch taking off until i got back to work to fix it.

Check out TWM Performance. They have a dual bend shifter also. I had the Skunk2 dual bend in my car for a couple years and changed it out for the TWM Performance unit. WAYYYY better. The Skunk2 wasn't horrible but there was a noticeable difference in shift smoothness from the Skunk2 to the TWM one. The bearings are of much higher quality in the TWM Performance shifter which is probably why it feels so much smoother shifting.

Also TWM Performance is releasing some sick shift extenders. I'm on their Facebook group fan page and they posted a picture of their 4 inch shift extender. Looks awesome.

Anyways here's a link for the TWM short shifter

Would the +94 integra TWM shifter be a better mod over the EF shifter?
