is it safe to have a hydro clutch in a cable tranny for a b series motor
i have a 1990 ef with a ls motor and i have the cable trans and supposedly a hydro clutch in it is this possible and is this safe
I don't think it'll fit.
You have to use what was made for the tranny.
Hydro to hydro
and
cable to cable.
One of them is a little bigger if I remember right.

yeah as long as the tranny you have is 92-93..92-01 b-tranny use same clutch but different throwout bearing..if you got 90-91 tranny you gotta use 90-91 clutch

90-91 same spline count but thinner, the 92+ discs are all the same hydro or cable and they will fit over the 90-91 input shaft but can damage the shaft because of the loose fit...as for the flywheels its the same 90-91 have different flywheels and 92+ are all the same
