Removing 88 Crx upper ball joint
Guys I have a 88 crx and most people know, its time to replace ball joints, now the problem is that I've heard that on 88-89 crxs ball joints are welded in to the arm, is that true? I can go get two 90-91 upper control arm, would they fit my baby?
The problem is that I want to replace these ball joints for adjustable ones since my camber have seen better days.
What to do? Get 90-91 upper control arms and replace ball joints there then install them?
Can I get my 88 upper ball joint off the upper control arm?
Help fast!

Re: Removing 88 Crx upper ball joint (Tyson)
well my car was front ended, I also lowered it, so it really needs an alingment with a camber kit.
So 90-91 upper control arm are going to fit my 88 crx perfectly? No problems with that?

Yeah, get a 90-91 uca's and replace the ball joints. Specialty products make one that adjusts camber and caster...or you can get one made by Vision... http://www.jhpusa.com look under suspension. I bought the upper arm from a local wrecking yard for $35 and adjustable ball joints for $160 (pair) they normally go for $200...If I had to do it again, I'd go with the Visions...slightly more but plug and play no need to press anything...but no caster adjustments just camber...
