The upper ball joints are on their way out on my 89 CRX. I know that these are not replaceable except by replacing the control arm......anyone had any experience with any aftermarket upper control arms? If so, how has it been?

I think SPC, the place that makes the camber kits, makes one for the CRX. I have their kit that goes in the joints of the stock upper arms and they work good. I believe its Specialty Products Corp.
