IACV for ZC
I need a new IACV for my D16A9(or ZC in some countries), but it seems that new ones are not available.
Anyone knows the OEM part or any other substitute?
Thanks a zillion!!

However, the item is no longer available from Honda.
I was thinking it might be generic with some other cars , eg manufactured by Denso, Keihin etc and if it was, what was the original manufacturer part number...
Also, my model is CRX ED9... i can't seem to find much information on thsi model code..

Re: IACV for ZC
I wished my junkyard has chopped civic/crx...
i am from singapore and our cars are chopped or exported when they are 10 years old.. i reckon we only have less than 10 units of the 2nd gen CRX left in our country now ..
ours is not a friendly country for old cars

Re: IACV for ZC
There is also a possibility that your IACV is not bad.
Weird idle can be caused by vacuum leaks, and IACV code can be also set off by a broken IACV wire.
Another IACV that would be compatible with yours is some of the B16 / GSR IACV's. With those you just need to make sure that bolt hole spacing is the same as yours. If bolt holes line up, everything else will too, and it will work in your car the same.

We have checked and there was no apparent vacuum leak. I will check the wires next.
Cheers!

If you are not in the United States you should probably indicate that since the vast majority of people on here are.

interesting since i fond it on my first try on autozone, oreilly, advance auto and rockauto. BWD, Duralast, Carquest, Ultra Power, Airtex and Standard Motor Products all make NEW idle air control valves.
Also checked NAPA they ahve Echlin branded iacvs.

but thanks for the tip!
I found it in rockauto! I have dealt with them before for my Nissan Skyline R32.
I started this thread cos I needed to know the OEM manufacturer's part number, eg Standard Motor's, Airtex , Duralast etc..
Thanks again!
