disconnect battery, remove power cables off starter, unbolt the 2 long bolts on the side and pull out starter, reverse directions for install. simple as that

What he said, but take the passenger tire off and the shroud behind it. It will make it a lot eaiser to get to the lower bolt on the starter.

you only need a 14mm socket, and a 12mm socket. man i wish i took off the tire, when i did my starter yesterday, damn that **** was a bitch. o well

hell if i would pull my tire and inner fender liner, its a 15 min job to do a starter on a civic. 6 inch extension and deep 14mm put the ratchet out far enough to get a good yank on it. I usually dont even remove the intake tube. Everyone else is dead on right, Power wire is 12mm and the 2 mount bolts are 14mm
