I just pulled a motor out of a 95 gsr...........The kid blew a hole straight threw the block...........but the rest on the stuff on the motor looks good......Is there anything that I could take off and throw on my B16a that would increase horse/torque...................thanks in advance

The cylinder head wil yeild higher compression on your block because of the smaller combustion chamber. It also creates a better quench area. Match that up with a skunk intake manifold and your looking at a nice improvement. You could also use his crank with a custom set of rods and pistons to create a 1.8 ltr.

thanks, that would be better for NA though right (cylinder head)..........I just may get a turbo over the winter, but I am still thinking about it.............Anything else for improvements?

If you're running the stock 1g b16a1 cams..you could swap in the GSR cams, if not the head. It's slightly more aggressive. It's not much, but worth it if it's free.

While you're at it, might as well grab the valve cover too. The valve cover that came on my b16a is ratty and chipped.

get the gsr throttle body, is way better than the b16a, only by 1.5mm. but it's a lot though.

definately not steeling it..........I have to replace a motor for someone and I am going to ask him if i can keep some stuff off the old one.............hopefuul I can keep the whole thing.............The throttle body will definatley fit though?? Thanks guys
