Default is a gsr head better den b16 head on a stock b16a motor

i have a gsr head on my jdm b16a block but i havent put the motor in yet but i wanan know if its better den stock b16a head.....has ne one done this is swap???if so can i see some dyno sheets of hp....cause all i know is gsr has lower compression ratio...and that make more hp...thanks

it will be slower than it would with the standard head.

lower compression does not make you faster.

i hope ur not serious.

i think what i said is right.....feel free to back me up anyone

haha
lower compression=less hp dude
the gsr head flows about 15% worse than the b16 head
stick with the b16.

keep talkin like that newbie and your stay here will be shorter then your bobby ***.

Anyway... I'd do the GSR head for the compression. Although its only a bit.. I'd rather have higher compression then better flow. I'd only stay with the B16 if your going to upgrade the IM, TB, or cams to utilize that flow.

just one tip , dont run single layer head gasket with the GSR other wise you will have clearence issues .
from stock to stock gsr will make more CR
but b16 will flow better
p&p is a hold different thing
