There is a way to install one where the turn signals are in the bumper cover-that happens to be where the bumper mounting bolts are anyway. How low are you that you cannot use the ones under the front? My car sits at SCCA 5" and has been flatbedded off the track. Granted I do not have a full airdam in front. I can get the car on the trailer using our Superwinch with no issues at all, btw.

Tried it once, it started to lift up the front of the bumper, so I stopped.
The mudflaps have maybe 1" of clearance, the ghetto lip has maybe 3"

Take off your front bumper for the meantime then .. I never really had a problem with mine and I even had an after market front on my old crx .

for street car, tow hooks are a bad idea. but for track car, tow hooks make life alot wasier when u stick it in the gravel trap. i know alot of honda challange guys use the bennen tow hooks. as for mounting, u realy need to mount them well as u will be pulling your car with them and some track workers yank rather then pull when gettin u out of the rock garden. the best spot, if possible, would be in the opening in the bumper for the rad. the grille i guess u could call it. if u could stick it there, u should be ok.
as for gettin it on the trailor, it depends on your trailor. i have to raise the nose of the trailor to get my car on or it'll hi-center. but on my friends trailor, which is lower, i have no issues. his is actually low enough that 3 of us pushed my car right up onto it. my car is 5" from the side jack points and stock non-si bumper and never have bumper issues.
