2000 crv ....started when the weather was zero for a week .. at first it wouldn't stay running without foot on accelerator, after warm up,,,,sometimes it would restart with starting fluid. symptoms have changed...its a little warmer outside 30-40 ....it starts on first turn over every time... once it warms up it stops (radiator hose is slightly warm..high idle shut off) , as if i turned off the key ,,,,no hesitation or struggle.....no restart (until it cools off) actually one day when it was 55 it wouldn't even start ..... ....when it was cold i figured ice in fuel/filter , so i changed filter , same issues. no check engine light , no current codes ( it was showing misfire on 1 and 3 for about three months previous, even though i couldn't sense any misfiring ,ran perfect ) ....power control switch ???? idle control??? ...i don't understand why it stops so completely.... i have worked on subarus 20 years previously .....this is my first honda... thanx for any help

i have been directed to the distributor/ crank sensor in distributor.. that makes sense considering my previous misfire codes...does that sound correct to anyone ? i had ruled it out because the check engine light wasn't back on after resetting..

thanks for the help... it was the alternator / crank sensor/ tdc sensor assembly... works good now
