My d15b keeps throwing cel when turn the car on and then it runs really poor at certain rpms. I took the car down to king motorsports and they said is was my idle air control valve so I replaced and it still does the same thing and it just keeps getting worse. Any ideas? If king motorsports cant figure it out, who can? Any ideas would help. Thanks

a plugged fuel filter perhaps? my friend had d16 with similar symptoms and just replaced the fuel filter and it ran like a champ. i don't know if it is the same for you, but it's a thought.

Thanks for the idea, I will try it out and see if thats it. I went to another shop and they told me it was my ecu? If it was the ecu wouldnt the car run alot worse? I am using a chipped p28 and the chip is off right now, on a d15b.

No, I replaced the idle air control valve and it still comes on every time I turn on the car. The idle drops to about 500 rpm and then the check engine light comes on and then it jumps up to about 1100rpm but the light stays on and at about 1500 rpm is when it starts to choke out, beyond that its fine.
