Default z6 swap in too 93 dx

ok i have a complete d16z6 and i have a 93dx with a blown motor now wat i want to know is can i run this motor with my dx harnesse and not hook up the vtec for now i need to get this car on the road and have little money to spend on a conversion harnesse and new ecu and also can i use my dx dizzy on the z6 thanks for any help

Yes and yes, it will run with no vtec and it will run with the DX dizzy, I'm running one my Z6.

you can run the b7 dizzy on the z6 head. you will have to modify the legs on the b7 dizzy for it to fit correctly. You'll know what i'm talking about when you do it

Yeah either that or swap out the internals into a bad z6 housing. Thats what i did becasue i had a bad z6 dizzy. As far as the harness u can use ur dx one and all vtec is is 3 wires. You can get ur PO6 ecu converted to a P28 (sohc vtec) and it will work great. all u will need is 3 wires one to a ground, one to a4 and one to d6 pins in the ecu.

aight cool and can i reuse the clutch on the b7 on the z6 and is the alt the same also thanks for all the help
