Default z6 head on y7 block

Well i did search but nothing too usefull just things like..."well you will have to convert it to obdII" (which i know) just wondering best/ easiest way to do this.

Ok so here is the question. I have a d16y7 right now and have the chance to get a z6 head swap for really cheap. Been wanting to do this for a while and just wondering about some of the things involved in this. I think i remember somewere hearing about a jumper harness? or something.
