mini swap
okay before you start roasting here, i already search and look at the FAQS thread. for one, the new search is a POS. the old search was way better. also, i'm not a D-series guy, i'm a B-series guy. so here's my question. what head studs should i use in order to bolt a d15b (jdm vtec) head onto a y7 block? can i just use all the y7 head bolts? or would i need atleast one d15b headstuds or visa-versa?
anyways, i did a y8 head on a y7 block and a y7 head on a b7 block before but never did a d15b head on a y7 block. the only reason i'm asking is because when i did the y8 head on y7 block i can reuse all the y7 headstuds but when it came to the y7 head on b7 block i had to use 9 of the 10 b7 headstuds and one y7 headstud to make it work.
anyways, any helpful advice would be helpful. planning on doing the swap this weekend so any advice til then will help greatly or else i'll just have to try it myself.

Re: mini swap
If its a 92-95 Obd1 D15B Vtec head it should be exactly like putting on a D16Z6 head.So D16Z6 ARP headstuds would be good.I just used them on my CRX for a Z6 head on a A6 block. If you have a newer D15B head then im not sure because there was an Obd2 3-stage Vtec head also.Check out d-series.org theres a D15b Vtec faq.

Re: mini swap
damn... i forgot all about the 3-sage vtec head... that better not be it. anyways, i'm trying to stay away from ARP. and the difference is i'm using a y7 block not a B or Z block, if that have any difference between the Y blocks.

Re: mini swap
Sorry about suggesting the D16Z6 studs.Overlooked what block you are using.I was just thinking of the D15b and Z6 heads being the same. Not the same as my swap, all apologies here.
