Y8 manifold install, now some weird happenings
so i just finished my y8 manifold install on my y7, now some weird things are happening with my motor.
first of all, instead of the motor going to about 1500 rpm and calming down to 750rpm while warming up, it goes to about 2500 rpm then drops to 1900 slowly, then pulses back to 2500 quickly. this happens till the motor is warmed up, dropping by 50 rpm each time. when the motor is warm, it sometimes surges between 1500 and 1000 rpm, and sometimes it just sits at 800 normally. Could this be a vacuum leak?
second, when accelerating at about 50% throttle, the motor feels like it loses power between 3000 and 3500 rpm. could this be due to a bad basemap, or could it be the manifold itself?
third, i can't find the FITV on anything. could someone show my on their TB/ intake mani where it is
