Is this worth it at all?
My buddy on a local car forum has an egay (I guess?) turbo kit for sale. It started at $600, now it's down to $325, I'd probably offer him $300 for it.
My question was.. would it be worth it to buy this and then upgrade turbo/IC/piping as I can? (which would more than likely be relatively soon.. before IA)
If some of you all know "WadeFAB" on here, he lives down the street from me, and I would be having him fab IC piping and mani ASAP as well.
I would not run high boost, probably 8psi, and would have it tuned before hammering.
My initial thought was "absolutely not," but for $300, I don't know anymore. Here are some pictures of it:
Comes with oil return lines, boost and oil pressure gauges as well. *shrug*
Thanks for the help HT.

Don't do it....you could probably piece together a better a turbo kit from a junk yard if you know what to look for in that price range.

$300 dollars is not worth blowing your motor....... idk you would basically replacing the whole kit except for some piping, save your money and get quality parts, your car will love you for it

i've actualy heard of those kits lasting a few years. they thing is to remember to pu a oil restricter because those seals blow all the time. Search around should be a few threads.
