ya its half assing it cuz i am stuck with this gay *** p08 ecu where vtec is retarded to hook up..how r u suppose to wire into a ecu, u need pins and stuff

Getting pins is easy. It is easier than getting a window switch wired. Go to a junkyard, cut off a few ecu connectors...get the right pins..and you're done. The pins come out easily if you open the two flaps on the wire side of the connector. Installation of the pins is reverse of removal. Super easy.
Window switches dont have facilities for right fuel enrichment, timing settings, etc, so the cam will switch, but it wont make as much power as it should.

k. update. i got a p28 now i hooked in the vtec but im still getting cel.. why is that? does a d16z6 have a knock sensor? if so how does it wire in.. and where is it located

ya, i JUST did..really good advice..im gonna try it today after I am done writing my crim test...iu will post a CEL # and let you guys to the step by steps for me!

D16Z6 does not have a knock sensor. what car is this in? what motor? more information sil vouz plait. <~~ that was fruity.

Ok. i got a code 19 its cuz im using an automatic transmission p28 on a standard car. will a standard p08 ecu work?(from 91) do i still have vtec with this p28 thats in now? i cant feel it or tell since the motor is fast even without vtec hooked in.
