Default Wiring questio for my b16 swap

I will be rewiring my dx wiring harness for vtec and crap for my 00 b16a2 swap. Am i able to just use a 98 GSR ecu (plug and play, no modding needed?)

or do i have to get the obd2a to obd2b harness and use the 00 si ecu?

oooo and this is for a 98 dx hatchback by the way.

yes you can. but you might notice a stumble where the ecu thinks the iab is supposed to open. and yes you can get the 2a to 2b conversion and use the 00 si ecu.

98 GSR ECU will plug right in, for the 99-00 Si you need the IIa to IIb harness.

So it plug right in? Will it run good with no hesitations or bogging or check engine lights?
