Re: window troubles (civic_stunna)
check the switch and the motor. On my old eg the switch used to arc every once and a while and currode the contacts, the motor might be shot though also. its easy to test the motor though. just put power and ground to the blue wire and the black wire. 12 on blue and ground on black works the motor in one direction, 12 on black and ground on blue works it in the other direction.

Are you sure this works? Because my windows are slow as hell coming up or going down. And sometimes stops when going up/down. So will this so called spray or can something else be used, work? Also could the motors be almost going out? Replacing all 4 motors will be a beat down.

Do you disconnect the motor and use another 12v source? My 96 civic's drivers side window stopped working but it gradually got worse. I could hear the gears making some awful noise when the window was almost up but I would like to test the motor to see If I only need to replace the regulator. When I try to put the window down I hear nothing. Window just stay in up position
