Default Will Z6 Cam and valvetrain work in a Y8 head?

I need to know a definate answer on this because from what I have read is that it can throw timing off but I do not know if that is because of the block or what. The set-up will consist of a Z6 block with a Y8 head, Z6 crower stage 2 cam and crower valvesprings and retainers. Let me know if you can. Thank you.

it will work....cam timing will be off unless a cam gear is used. I believe the difference is around 3 degrees.

Just throw everything in with a cam gear, tune it to how you like, and you'll be set
