will any delsol linkage fit any d series tranny

Im in a 99 sedan soon to have my first swap done & the guy im buying the parts from doesnt know if his delsol linkage will fit or not

Del Sol linkage is the same as coupe/hatch linkage on both ends BUT it is 4" shorter. So Del Sol linkage will only work on a Del Sol if that is what you are asking. The transmission will work in either car

Del Sel linkages are longer either way a Del Sel linkage will only work in a Del Sol.
