Default question regarding timing on a b16

Okay so my buddy has a 00 EM1 that jumped timing. Valves are all in good condition but the timing belt needs to be replaced. The cam gears are not lined up. What is the best way to go about getting everything lined back up without damage to anything? Thank you in advance H-T

Take cams out (all valves will retract), turn bottom end back to top dead center(plz use timing marks on crank. Then put cams in according to timing marks on cam gears and lock cams back down, then put belt on call a day

Np, make sure you take cam caps off in correct order so you dont put undo load on cam in spots
