Nope, they bolt up, but they're electrically different.

Is there anything you can do to get it to work? I have a non working civic ek trans and a working trans out of a 95. Couldn't I just swap sensors?

If you have several other parts from the '95 then yes, but its not worth the work and wont pass emissions in several states. You have to swap the intake manifold for one from a D15B7, D16Z6, or 5 speed D16Y8 and use a '92 - '95 Civic automatic throttlebody and kickdown cable. You will need to run a conversion harness (automatic conversion harnesses aren't all that easy to find and generally aren't cheap) and an OBD1 ECU, you will need to convert to a 2 wire IACV as well.

No, theres no place to mount the sensors and solenoids on a '92 - '95 tranny. Plus '92 - '95 transmissions used a kickdown cable, '96 - '00 didn't.

Thanks for the clarification. I just wanted to be sure that it wasn't just something simple.

I have a coworker with a 99 DX auto with a bad trans. I have a 95 ex auto trans, so I was hoping I could just swap sensors over.
