wierd over heating...
ok this just started happening on Easter...i start my car and i drive down the street, i noticed it heated up fairly quickly..not the normal 10 minutes to heat up more like 2.. then i look down shortly after about 3 miles from my house the temp gage starts to climb..i down shift to 4th and give it gas and it goes back to normal and then climbs back up.. i then shut my car off coasting turn it back on and its normal and 2 seconds later it climbs back up to h.. cold air is coming from the vents.. i played with the heater switch jiggling it back and forth from hot to cold... idk what the problem is, if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated

When your engine is at operating temp. there should be psi on your hoses (grip the hose, it should be stiff). Feel how hot your upper hose is compared to your lower. the upper hose should be cooler than the lower. if you can't tell by feel, use a thermometer (it might work) well anyways if the upper is as hot or hotter than the lower, replace your thermastate
