I need to run a 10 gauge,12v,30 amp wire for a power inverter I'm installing.
I will be installing it on the front passenger side so I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions for a good place to tap the wire into, under the dashboard?

i wouldn't tap that into anything, you will more then likely melt your factory wiring. run the wire threw the fire wall, you'll see a rubber grommet beside the battery, get a metal coat hanger and jam it threw the grommet and sound deadening then tape your wire to the coat hanger and pull it threw, wire the wire to the battery with a fuse, maybe a 30 min install
Ps, got any pics of that 79 ford?, my dad has a 79 f-150 ranger, that i put a 85 cobra 302 in, with the 5 speed from the stang. i killed a newer hemi ram with it and man was he mad lol

yea I'm installing a relay to a 12v ignition feed and switch along with it so I wont drain my battery if I forget and leave it on.
and to 98greensi yea here's a few pictures...these are before pictures because I plan to restore it but i don't have the money right now because all my moneys been going to my civic.
