where is my o2 sensor wiring?
hey guys, just picked up a basket case 95 eg hatch. it has the stock d15b7 and i'm assuming the stock ecu. the CEL is on for code 41, o2 sensor, which the dope; for some reason, deleted from the system. it has a header and a full exhaust with ports for the sensor which have been plugged but it was also "mostly shaved" so everything is taped up and i'm not sure where to look to find the plug to hook it back up. it also looked like there were two ports with plugs in them, a primary coming out of one of the header tubes, and secondary after the downpipe iirc, in order to shut the light off i only need one of them right? its obd1 fwiw
also, this isn't the first time i've seen this done... wtf is the point? bad gas mileage and a check engine light? what am i missing here..

I'm not sure where it is, but I can tell you where it isn't. It's definitely not in the trunk.
I hope that helps.
Look for it in the harness somewhere near the reverse light & coolant temp sensor.

Re: where is my o2 sensor wiring?
Some people don't have a clue to use an O2 socket to remove the sensor. Eventually they end up stripping it while trying to replace the stock header for another. Cutting the harness is their ghetto way of not having the sensor there. Yeah, stupid idea indeed.
