Aftermarket header B16 - Check Engine Light.
I installed an aftermarket performance header in my 2000 Civic 4D. no problems, beautiful sound, better gas mileage, however my first O2 sensor broke on me and I had to throw it away, so I took another O2 sensor from 99 Civic Hatch installed it but the Check Engine light is still on. Sometimes when I hook it to the check engine device it gives me sensor 1 and/or sensor 2. Sometimes the RPM go down below normal and you feel little shaking.
Any ideas? I already resetted the Check Engine more than one time but same issue. Should I get O2 sensor for civic exclusively?

O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1, or sometimes bank 1 sensor 2. It's really confusing. I want to turn off the CEL by anyway but of course not by disconnecting it.

Already did that. Cleaned them also with the air compressor thingy and it didn't work. I removed both of them and went for a drive, the idle like it's going to die. Then I put the O2 sensors back again and same thing nothing changed. Btw the header I bought doesn't come with Cat Converter, which I don't really think it has something to do with the O2 sensors.

Is this the same as the O2 sensors 1 and/or 2?

Your title is confusing, is it a B16 or D16? The B16 doesn't have the cat built into the header the D16Y7 does. Where does the new header have the O2 bungs at? Can you take a pic?

It's D16Y7, really sorry about that. The problem is I threw the old header away. This is exactly what it looks like http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...exhaust062.jpg

Here's a suggestion, I can buy a direct fit cat converter, fit it and weld it if it needs to. It'll come with an O2 sensor bolt. I think this is a probability that it might turn off the CEL off. What you guys think?
