where can i get carbon coated syncros
im looking to do a refresher on my tranny
its a b16 tranny ou tof a 2000 si
its good accept 3rd grinds a bit at high rev
im looking to get an ls 5th gear
an lsd diff
and of course
carbon coated syncros.
does anyone know were to get them and if they are worth it. ive heard great things about them. i just wanna know some info on em and where everyone got theres and what co.s have better $$ or quality stuff. let me know. also fyi they reason for the ls 5th is ive got a built b20. im not totally in love wiht reving it to 5 all the time on the highway. haha thanks in advance

synchrotech is a shop in CA that has made many sets of these and i read reviews on them saying nothing but great things. read a article on them in import tuner mag a week ago.

why do you want an ls final drive it's just gonna be like having an ls trans, the 5th gear would be good, because 5th is horible on the highway with an si trans

i AM using an ls 5th gear. and im looking for an lsd. thanks for clarifying. im am aware of the b16 5th gear being anoyingly short as i did an h2b with one and couldnt highway the car at all . thats why im doing the ls 5th gear. im bulding a cammed b20 now. and the lsd is for obvious reasons

yea true. we shoudl get a meet set up this spring. im kinda sick of most of the kids running around altoona and hollidaysburg.

i just moved back from pitt i hated it there but i graduated college haha. i hereby claim a hondatech spring central pa meet.
if you live in driving distance of altoona and rock an h badge your welcome to come. i just dont know where or when ha.
although this summer im gonna rock an s2000 or a g35. im thinking im going g35. ill always have my daily civic though
