Just wondering if anyone has tried out the tighter final drives for their h setups. Real world' race and dyno experiences. Also curious about the carbon synchros for hs....who got them and how r they??

I ran the 5.15. It was great for drag racing. Dont know how much i would like it on the srreet.

If you are interested let me know. Im selling mine as well as a LSD. Both have less than 30 passes on them and im asking a good bit less than new.

and about the carbon syncros....i would stick with OEM as I have had the best luck with them. My synchrotech carbons lasted less than 20 passes before the carbon ripped off of 3rd and 4th. and good luck getting them warrantied if you purchase them and dont install/drive on them immediately. He wont warranty them after a year.

Did u notice any better times with the 5.15fd over stock?? I'm kinda interested to try one out to even the odds a lil bit with the h2b crowd. How much u looking for the fd alone and with the lsd??

FD alone i want 650 shipped
Combined with LSD i will take 1200 shipped (was asking 625 shipped for lsd)

Package deal would drop it 75 dollars. These are almost 1500 plus shipping new!

Anyway, i couldnt tell you honestly. I had all this stuff at the same time i turned my car to a race car. Gearing wise its really nice for the track. I could get used to it on the street, but it would suck on the hwy. I can tell you i wouldn't have ran the times i did without them both.

I had the 4.64 and hated it on the hwy. Driving around 60mph was 4k in 5th gear.
I can't even imagine how bad a 5.15 would be on the hwy. Great for track though!

i had stock and 4.64. if your going to drive the car around the way the it wont be that bad to do 4.64 as 5.15. I have notice a better feel of acceleration in the street and 60ft. If your going to drive it on the street 4.64 is better
