apexi ws2 ftw, it flows great and was just as quiet as stock on my 95 gsr. the rest you have listed are loud as hell lol

oh i had a ws2 on my boosted d15b hatch as well, never got pulled over cuz it was so quiet

#2 is quiet, the rest are loud / canister style exhausts.

thanks! quick question tho, i'm soon boostin too, i heard the ws2 would b restrictive for a turbo build
especially considerin i'll b runnin an oem cat...
i rly like the skunk2 mega power, but don't wanna b super loud...
i guess my question is...what is a non-restrictive, non-obnoxious exhaust

also, throughout the rpms how does it change, like goin from cruisn at low rpms to openin it up

its quiet and i didn't feel the vtec kicked in.. hehehe..

maybe it was just me.. lol

let me see if i can dig up a sound clip of my old z6 turbo coupe, i had megan drift spec on it and it sounded ALOT like an evo for some reason.

I owned the original Greddy Evo exhaust on a D16Z6 and it was actually pretty quiet unless you were up in vtec, it was not the high pitched ricey sound either. It had some good tones to it. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and received many compliments on the sound.
Only downside was the tip stuck out a little far past the bumper and was incredibly large diameter.

Currently I have a magnaflow system and enjoy its sound and performance.

WS2 FTW. I've had 2 or 3 over the years on different cars.

if you turbo the car no matter what it will quite it down sustantially. a turbo is one of the best mufflers int he world. go with big diameter so you wont regret it later

There you go holmes, sorry it's short but atleast it gives you an idea.

Also that is no cat on there so it's slightly louder than if you had one obviously.

I have ApexiNoir (same design as WS2) w/test pipe, stock exhaust manifold, NA b16b stock airbox, K&N filter. Passive Aggressive. Daily drive it through the neighborhood, but it sounds like it should at VTEC and sounds better than it should at 9K!

Also have WS2 w test pipe, Comptech Sport 4-2-1, NA B16a, Comptech Intake, powercore filter. Same as above but VTEC is much more aggressive obviously

The Noir is flat black so a little more discreet. I don't think its saved me any tickets yet though. These seem to be the standard in non fart-can applications.

i like the megan racing exhaust it sounds nice and so does the skunk2 exhaust but it is extremely loud so if you are worried about getting pulled over i wouldnt get the skunk2
