Default where can i get aircraft stripper?

I've heard of using aircraft stripper to strip the paint totally off a car. My engine bay is all mucked to hell so I was going to repaint it but i want it totally clean first.

Anyone know where i can buy some? thanks

Pep Boys, Autozone, Advanced Auto, etc.

I certainly would NOT use that on an engine bay and risk getting it near the outside paint. That stuff is BAD NEWS. You get just a little bit on your skin and you'll be itching and burning.

I would take off the hood and mask off everything that I dont want sprayed (twice over). Then keep a water hose handy with a spray tip. Wear gloves and use some sort of scraping tool to help it. If you get any on your hands or even think you did, wet it immediately with water. Water dilutes this stuff fast so if your quick enough you wont feel the burn.

Be careful.

Mike!
