Wheel Stud Replacement
I recently noticed a horrible shake in my car, so I get out, look at all the wheels and my front drivers side wheel only had 2 lug nuts on I checked and 2 of the studs had broken right of. Not sure how it happened
Tomorrow Im going over to NAPA to get two more then put them in.
Will I need to pull the whole hub assembly? Or can I slide the studs in from behind without mangeling the threads?
TIA!

you will have to pulll the hubs out to put the studs in properly...there is a thread on here on how to do it properly...and also there is another thread to do it with a slide hammer. just search

Yes bend the brake shield or like I did snip a lil piece out. If you cant hammer old stud out all the way cut the heads off with a grinder. I still had a tight fit putting new studs in so I used a grinder to make a flat side (Just as much as it takes) which made it possible to clear the blockage. Those Hubs are a pain to remove in my experience (only tried once) so this ghetto method might work for you too.
I have had no problems ever since.
I hate the way Honda makes you take the hub off to change em it's such a Beeoch!!
When all else fails and your broke go Ghetto-tech

Re: (Budget Racer)
I did all the studs on my 93 Si with out removal of the hub assyit wasn't all that hard but I alos had a hot knife to help get the old studs out.

If you do it like this, make sure you weld the stud in the back.
I do all mine like this:

Re: (Luserkid)
Yup thats how I did it except I barely flatend one side of the stud and it worked great. There was still enough material so that the stud head would stay strong.
