Default whats the best ecu set up to use on this ?

i just bought a 99 ex with a b18c1 swap done nice no hack job , its has intake headers , exhaust and what i belive is a early year blox intake manifold . so my question is the car is running on a p2t ecu (civic si) i was told this was done for emissions reasons and that i can get the GSR ecu and just swap back and forth come time to test every two years ? so which ecu should i use i dont want to go to obd1 i want to stay obd2 . I would like plug and play if can? I belive I need to find a P72 usdm gsr ecu that is obd2b or a obd2a and use a jumper harness ???? i dont want no cel light and i want the most/best ecu for the car . please if you guys can point me in the right way would be great !!!!!!!!!!! thanks alot and im new to the form hope i posted in the right place .

Is this a trick question?

Get an OBD2B GSR ECU. It should be a P72, if memory serves correctly.

^ that, and that should also work for emissions.

no trick question , i just want to make sure that i buy the right set up . and what about the GSR Immobilizer those were on the 00-01 years right ? so i would be looking for a 96-99 GSR p72 OBD2B ?

I would buy an obd2-obd1 jumper harness and run a obd1 ecu with a base map with your setup

I would buy an obd2-obd1 jumper harness and run a obd1 ecu with a base map , if i go this route like jdmjunkiexl posted , when time comes to go test emissions just swap back in the b16 ecu i have now and all is good correct ? thanks for all the info guys !

i just want to run the right ecu for the motor . if i have to swap back and forth to the
b16 ecu(p2t) just to pass emissions im fine with that .

if you use a p72 you will have a check engine light for iab because your running a blox manifold instead of the gsr snail . so a chipped obd1 ecu would be your best bet (lots of base maps out there for gsr with the iab removed)
