Default What to upgrade first -- '00 Si

Hi all. I'm new to these forums. Right now I want to familiarize myself with Honda upgrading. I've read about upgrading Mitsubish Eclipses, but not on Hondas. Can anyone provide me with links to websites that show staged upgrades on their Hondas? Also... What did you upgrade first in your cars? Any info and feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could take a few different routes towards upgrading your car. First you could work on upgrading the suspension with springs, struts, sway-bars, strut tower bars and bushings. Or you could work on improving your cars performance with bolt-ons like an intake, header, cat-back exhaust system, etc. Or if looks are important to you, then you could go that route. It kinda all depends on your budget. Use the search function on this board, it's got tons of info. BTW, you should post in the other Civic forum, this forum is mainly for 88-91 Civics/CRXs. HTH.

Well, I basically want to get performance out of my car. Can anyone give me some websites that show you steps on upgrading your car?

First off, put some good rubber on instead of those Mipoo poolins!! Go with RE730, Kumho, or Falken Azenis RS!!!!

There are many different things for you to upgrade. Many people here can help you but try searching over at http://www.clubsi.com and get some ideas over there in their forums. There will be a lot for you to read over there and it will give you a lot of the basics. The only reason i am recommending that site is cuz I search on there all the time and it helped me a lot with building my car. Hope this helps.

First thing i would do is to lower your car, you dont really have to slam it. It will get rid of some wheel gap and make it look alot better. You will also benifit handling wise too cuz of the the stiffer springs. An intake would be the best thing to get first perfomance wise, that is usually everyones first mod.

I would personally save up for a TURBO... but even if on a limited buget, I would lower the car properly, then even an exhaust.

Budget minded- The Si suspension is descent. Just get some ITR springs and rear swaybar. Your boltons are going to help you alot.

But for the best power adder that's N/A, you have to get some cams . A good cam will do wonders for that engine.
