turbo95ej, how long ahve you been running your turbo on STOCK internals for? you haven't had any problems, worse gas mileage? (there is a point to this referring to the topic)

I'm not sure how it is with the civics, I know with my eclipse GSX it used a little more gas because it had an extra pumpkin to turn (AWD all the time, not just that crap on the legacys that kick in when the tires are spinning at different times)..but for me it seems like if you take it easy (don't beat on it) you'll actually get BETTER gas mileage, but if you really hammer on it (like I always do) you'll get really shitty gas mileage....that's just what I got out of my numbers when I calculated the MPG's that I got back in the day when I had the car...I don't remember what the actual numbers were...but that was on 15lbs, I'm not sure if the numbers vary in exponential growth according to how many lbs ur pushing, but I assume the concept is the same, long and short of it:
go easy on it: it'll save u a few miles per gallon (not much, like 3 miles...)
go hard on it: it'll burn like 10 miles / gal off ur avg. It's sickening when u beat on it

But never the less, like I said, I was turnign an extra pumpkin with the all time AWD, so my scenario was quite different as the avg mpg wasn't near a D16's anyways

Hope that helps a bit

you got stock internals what kind of turbo you got?? and what kind of ecu you running? .i no that the fuel injectors stock could handel 10lbs of boost but im going with 550cc's, hondata all the way with a zex cam ,and a apexi p18 turbo so ill be pushing 9 or 10lbs of boost, some say that its not good to get a after market clutch and flywheel but i think i am you think thats a bad idea?along with a lsd,i got plenty of money to spend but i wanna spend it smart on parts that really work, just the other day i didnt no anything about engines now i no alot from this site thanks to everyones help.

yes do a clutch, and a flywheel is up to you. Also keep in mind that the psi is also dependent on the size of the turbo. a small turbo at 10psi is not the same as a big turbo at 10 psi.
