??????what tranny??????
Ive searched and couldnt find anything...heres my question.
Im getting a motor built, its a b20 sleeved block with an ls head, im going to run boost. What transmission should i mate with it? Driving on the highway/interstate is important to me because i do it daily, so a gsr tranny is out of the question. My setup right now is a d16y7, would the y7 tranny mate up and be good for boost, or should i go with an ls tranny...if none of those what transmission should i go with.
Thanks for any help

Why would the GSR tranny be out of the question? It would probably work best for your application. The gears are not rediculously long like the LS and they arent to short like the B16. The GSR will give you both a nice cruising RPM and its still short enough if you ever decide you want to race.

Yep, GSR is probably the best choice because it's the median. Not too short like the B16 and not as long as an LS.
If anything, you could swap in the LS 5th gear for better highway cruising.
