Your catalytic convertor is located within your exhaust manifold.
If you're looking to replace the cat then you have two options:
1. Find another exhaust manifold/cat combo from another 1992-1995 Cx or VX
2. Buy a header or exhaust manifold for a 1992-1995 Dx/Si and then have a muffller shop install a catalytic convertor for the Si/Dx and modify your exhuast or just buy an exhaust system for a DX/Si
Why do you ask?

I noticed a rattle at certain rpms and got under the car with a hammer to determine what was causing the noise. I tracked the noise to what I thought was the cat...located in the middle of the exhaust system. The noise was coming from inside the cat.
No problem with emissions and inspection isn't due until the end of next year.

You did notice that there was no cat under the car, right? The exhaust extends all the way halfway under the engine where it meets the cat/exhaust manifold.
It could be a heat shield or the A pipe or B pipe.

easiest fix is to switch to a CRX or EG Si/DX header and cat and B pipe.

The cat is attached directly to your exhaust manifold. I think you are talking about your resonator since that's in the middle of the b-pipe. I have a spare 2 month old B-pipe sitting around. Email me if you are interested. dwnthehatch@yahoo.com
