What Motor Oil for Auto Tranny?
I've been told that oem tranny fluid is the same as motor oil. is this only true for manual or also auto's? need to change the fluid on a 98 civic auto. thanks.

Do not put regular engine oil in your auto tranny, please. Use Honda ATF.

OEM Honda ATF 
And stop going to PepBoys. Those people will tell you anything to get you to buy something. Did you know Oldsmobile alternators work on CRX's??

nah, haven't been going to pepboys. just wanted to check cause i work so late that i can't get to the dealership during the week and i was hoping to change it this week. oh well, thanks though.
