What is the correct bolt for my 96 civic dx?
OK guys sorry if this is a noob question. I just purchased a 96 civic 96 w/b16a2 in it. Well the problem is that the cv joint is clicking on the driver side and I have the part to replace it but I ran into a problem. The bolt that is at the bottom of the suspension fork connecting to the lower control arm is stripped. So i went to honda and had them order me a new bolt ($10). I got it and it looked too big. So I tried to put the nut on it and it was too big. I tried using the socket and instead of it being a 17mm it was a 19mm. WTfish!? I looked at the part # on the honda bag and it matched up to the oem part #'s on the Honda parts websites. Did they change? Did they previouse owner put in a different suspension setup in there? I'm confused on what I need to order. Help me out here HT GURUS.

Re: What is the correct bolt for my 96 civic dx?
I thought that those bolts were special as in high strength or something. Should I go to a Napa or Ace hardware where they have "upgraded bots"? Or is this an integra bolt? I did some checking and the 96-2000 civic bolt is different from the 94-2000 integra bolts (which is also the same bolt for the 92-95 civic si bolts. It cost about $8 so its not too bad. But i will check the local hardware and autoshops too. Can anyone clarify this bolt problem for me? Thanks
