what connector do i need to short the service connector?
what connector do i need to plug in to the service pot? i seen some around but dont know what i need or where to get one at.

if u wanna do what i did. i depin 2 male ends from a connector and stuck them in and now when i wanna read codes i keep them slid in and just touch the two wires together and hold them. then tuck them back when im not using them.

The Honda part number is shown in the diagram below. But if you are going to make such a purchase, just buy an OBD2 code reader instead.

the 2 pin connector that fits the service check plug can be found under the drivers seat. Its used for the seatbelt light. you could also get them off the tweeters used in EKs. However the seatbelt connector is a whole lot easier to find. I got one from a junkyard and used it to make the little service check connector in the diagram Ron posted. I like have the connector over jerry-rigging it with wire/a paperclip
