what causes hot spots on the flywheel?
just wondering cuz i changed out my clutch and my flywheel had a **** load of
hot spots all over it .
i already got it resurfaced and looks new

slipping the clutch gets it hot,which in turn warps stuff , which creates areas of greater pressure in certain spots because of the uneven surface??.....i think thats how it works..................just like warping your brakes................John
