What is the Best way to protect a EM1 si, besides the Garage?
i was certain the clutch pedal lock (autolock) and ravelco would stop a thief, but i guess both of those are ineffective at stopping thieves. any advice how to protect a EM1 civic Si? thanks.

There is actually a thread in the Security portion of HT, below the 92-00 thread, that talks about autolock and they can deter but as a single line of defense...not so much. Personally, I would suggest at least two kill switches, one for fuel and one for ignition, an alarm, either dealer installed or self installed (going with a stealth install may help but either way it adds an extra layer. I would also invest in a removable steering wheel with a locking hub (NRG does a decent job). Adding at least those three layers will help and I would recommend buying a .22 just in case.
Someone may tell you different but the way I see it, if they can silence your alarm, find both kill switches, drill out your hub and bring their own, and get away without getting shot, the kind of deserve it. Best of luck.

bro prolly just get a gps unit, stash it in your car so they wont find it. also i have found some secrets like hooking up a switch(hide the switch of course) for your fuel pump, so when you leave your car out just turn off the fuel pump...lol, same idea can be applied elsewhere for other things.
gps is the best though cause then you can find the bastards, take your shotty to their garage, and make em bounce like a bed spring...ahhahah

kill switch will help a lot just make sure you hide it.. but yeah if they want it.. they'll try everything.. get a club, an alarm system, a kill switch and maybe a security guard next to it.. haha! jk!

If you own 2 more cars, park one in front of it and one behind it.. minivans or something.. that's the only things i can think of :/

he's right about that.......and not to be a d!ck about it , but i probably live in one the worst of places , where honda's get stolen every other night (kissimmee fla ) and it seems to me that the main cars that get stolen are from the owner's that seem to show off and act their hot **** and talk **** .
i own 2 eg hatchs one k20a2swap and my DD b16sir2 , i believe my best key is not to draw too much attention ,(even tho thats hard to do) and i have a garage for a plus lolol and every single trick in the book so my cars doesnt get stolen while im at walmart lol

So do all of the above, Lo Jack, skills switches, alarms, insurance - but the best of all is let the paint fade, the fender dents glisten in the sunshine, the dirt to pile, and don't advertise your VTEC/stereo anywhere near your parking spot.
People in LA follow you, waiting to see where you live. Stop and let them pass. Then follow them
I don't care if I seem psychotic about my car. Ask yourself: You spent how many hours researching it? How many hours building it? Corrected how many problems? Learned how much? Spent how much?
It's not like we went to a dealer and said I'll take the Red Musturd GT please...
